How we choose

Trends is not a testing lab. We don’t test products: we spot what people are searching for more and more, explain it, and tell you what to check before you buy.

Where the trends come from

Each product is tied to a public source cited on its page, with the date we checked it. Figures are search growth over 5 years, shown with monthly volume: a high percentage on a small volume doesn’t mean a popular product.

Our rules

• No prices shown: they change too often. Check them on Amazon.ca.
• No health claims. If a source mentions one, we say “according to the source”.
• No photos copied from Amazon.
• At most 5 new products a week, published on Mondays.

What we don’t do

We don’t say a product is “the best”. No product suits everyone. The Amazon link opens a search on Amazon.ca: compare models before you buy.

How we get paid

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. We earn a small commission if you buy after clicking an Amazon link, at no extra cost to you. It doesn’t change what we pick.
